The reason why we chose NHS was as a co-ed, academic but inclusive school where bright children can be academically stretched but all children can be challenged to achieve their academic potential and leave the school as well rounded, happy individuals. We did not want an academic hothouse and wanted our children to have the opportunity to enjoy trying a range of activities from various sports, musical activities and DT. We love the nurturing and caring environment and values of the school.

My daughter moved to Newland House School in Year 3 from a local state school. There is a great sense of community here and my daughter loves the variety of opportunities offered. I’ve been impressed by how much fun the children have. Her classroom teacher is really creative in his lesson plans and has a sense of humour that the kids adore. Since starting at Newland I have seen my daughter try new things that I didn’t know she was capable of and seen her confidence grow as a result.
